If he cannot take pictures of the interior without opening the doors does he have the keys
and for that matter is it his to sell!? May explain why he didn't wash it!

To be fair it's neigh on impossible to keep a car spangly in this weather but I know it makes a
good impression when the effort I'd made for a sale! Why does the car look uncared for - the sill
damage could be from a previous owner so you daren't jump to conclusions...

Another one near(ish) to PeterN but after the last viewing maybe his enthusiasm to have a look
at a local car isn't as high - being an auto s1 won't help either!!

Used to have a customer with a Bedford CA with two gear levers. 1, 2 and reverse on the column, 3 and 4 on the floor. He had left such a huge gap around the floor lever mind, he could have lifted the box out into the cab, damn near, to change gears !

Would that alternate gear selection pass an MOT - certainly it doesn't seem to meet the type approval
the car needed to pass when it was first sold by Citroen!? Sounds a right pita actually. I do know that
a new selector cable is very pricey and totally unrealistic from Citroen.

Don't think any part of the test has to do with gear selection, so no issue. If the cable is horrendous from Citroen, it's always possible to get one made up by the specialist aftermarket makers.
