'96 XM 2.1 Hatch 2.1 TD Front Struts/Strut Tops F/S

These are the Swedish made DIY strut tops. Well made and cost £150.

Each top arrives in two halves. After removing the rusty 'cone' shaped part (the part that fails) the new cones are assembled around the strut. They are strong enough when just bolted together on the car but for extra strength they can be tack welded in place.

These strut tops are now on my XM struts and tack welded in place. They could easily be removed from the current struts and remounted if needed. Some rubber bonding agent will be required. They came supplied with some but the amount was pitifully small.

Value wise I'm not sure what to ask, but you'll get two struts with these Swedish tops already fitted.

Ahh thats a bugger. E-bay and Paypal are great money earners (for them). 10% of a sale roughly goes to e-bay and another bit to Paypal (owned by e-bay) for the payment.

To try and show folk what your strut top looks like, I thought you may have loaded up the actual photo's so as to promote a sale (As I can remember you loaded one up a while ago) , but to save you searching I've done it for you !

Thanks XMX. I normally find it a trauma to upload photo's but just a couple of days ago I have at last found an easier way. You're right, photo's always help and I've tended to go down the "if there is interest, then I'll put photo's up...."

Anyway, I didn't know there were differrent sizes, so you learn something new every day!

I'll measure and report back.

BTW, I basically just want these out the way, so all reasonable offers welcome!

Robert, the listing fees aren't so bad I guess, but the 10% hurts. Still, if I sell stuff then all is well.
