SELLING OR BREAKING TWO SII 2.5 t/d VSX MANUAL ESTATES

Both have been sitting for several years. I bought one (dark green, 166k, a/c) which was running but pressurising its water (no oil in water or water in oil) for spares but then my own one (dark blue, 122k) started to blow pipes and the whole project sadly got set to one side due to lack of time and facilities.

Mine has recently poked a front strut up through the turret, so there is corrosion! Panels generally good, but with minor dents in front and rear n/s wings - storm damage. Very fit engine and transmission, everything was working, good interior.

The green one has a scrape just aft of the n/s rear door but is otherwise straight, good interior.

I'd prefer them to go to go intact, please - I really haven't time to break them! Could assist with delivery at cost. Location Dumfries, SW Scotland

Any guide price for either of them?

Possibly interested in the bonnet off the green one if you decide to break it. Also other bits like the radiators i'll have, any cruise control switches from the inside, and some other odds and sods

I've been watching ebay lately and non running 2.5's just dont seem to sell which sucks bigtime

Hi - no other interest in either at present: I thought I'd leave it for a couple of weeks just in case and thereafter would be prepared to break them. I'm not looking to be greedy - just a fair price for bits! Radiators on mine were fine: they were certainly holding water on the green one and so should also be ok. As far as I know, neither has cruise control - mine certainly didn't .....

About 180 miles! Anyway,keep in touch. Incidentally, the green one has a set of slightly scruffy alloy wheels .....
