I cant remember now if that J reg 2.1 D had one, I think it did have. Id have to have a look next time Im up there...

Hi all.. So in response to questions.. Yes I can only have one car which means sparky my trusty 2.1 SD auto must go.. Fate unknown at present, but currently has a water leak and has done around 250,000.. I'm thinking head gasket soon too...

So I managed to get the car on the trailer without too much bother.. Removed the scuttle and oiled the pivot as suggested and... Bingo! Worked a treat..
Minor problem.. There are no working electrics in the car..
No electric windows
No climate control
No dash lights or interior lights
No radio
But exterior lights function as normal...
Bizarre.

Anyways.. Here starts the beginning of refurb. I've already switched my tyres and the brakes and discs are going to need replacing too..
Can't wait to get her up and road worthy again..
