24v in France

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

On the Google translate page the bid button is translated wrongly?

It will be interesting to see what this car makes as it is already at nearly £850 with eleven bidders and six days to go. I reckon it could get up to at least £1,500-£1,800. If anyone is planning to bid make sure you are suitably registered as I nearly lost out when pursuing the Germany XM. In my case fortunately the car did not quite reach the reserve and the chap let me have it for the same figure. It cost me around £800 in total for transport to the UK. With regards, Matthew T.

Just a few small cosmetic things I noticed from the photos include the usual oil dipstick plastic cap missing and inside the manual height setting lever is damaged with a cut in the right-hand rear door card. The bodywork looks fairly good apart from missing lacquer on the boot. Although advertised as 1990 interestingly above the RP number 5000 (18/7/90) is marked AP91. The car is slightly earlier than my two 24v but not as old as Paul's original one. Regards, Matthew T.

Sold for just under £1,250 that seems quite modest and almost exactly what I paid for my German 24v. Anyone on here I wonder? Regards, Matthew T.

Probably not Mathew.

Shows that 24v prices across the water can be just as strong as UK prices for these rarer beasts..

I had thought it might make more given the rarity Paul plus the replacement engine! Regards, Matthew T.

Ebay is not a popular place to buy or sell cars in France, I think the french prefer face to face negotiation. I would expect the asking price to be substantially higher if advertised on leboncoin.

XM prices are normally strong in France, e1500 is cheap for a running car. V6-24 don't seem to sell well.
