Wanted Series 1 Bendix Caliper Parts
Series 1 V6
During brake pad replacement found the handbrake piston and multi start threaded bolt which activates it were broken. I only need the components, but at a stretch will take a caliper. I am in Australia, hence would prefer to ship the components only rather than a whole caliper, due to freight costs. Please see attached photo.

Re: Wanted Series 1 Bendix Caliper Parts
Two different types of front caliper were fitted to Mk 1's.
Early type used thin 276mm brake discs and the caliper had a diecast cruciform hand brake operating lever.
Later type fitted to most XM's including many Mk 2's had 283mm brake discs.
The handbrake operating lever on these was made from shaped round bar.
For the record there was a final type of from caliper fitted to large engined Mk 2's using a 288mm brake disc.
These calipers look the same as the later Mk 1's just a little bigger.
Hope this helps you get the right bits.
I have a few spare calipers of the late Mk 1/ early Mk 2 type that could be stripped for spares.

Re: Wanted Series 1 Bendix Caliper Parts
it might be worth contacting this company
http://www.biggred.co.uk/index.php
i have used them a couple of times now and they are very very helpful,
even call you back if they say they will, they called me back outside business hour on one ocation,
i had them source Visa front caliper overhaul kits, were several other companies listed or said they could, only to be told after days later they cant get them, as these calipers are made by Citroen and not by one of the main caliper manufactures

Re: Wanted Series 1 Bendix Caliper Parts
Just to clarify things.
All types of XM front brake calipers were manufactured by BENDIX and carry that marking.
The first two types had 57mm pistons and I believe used the same rebuild kit.
The final caliper (Bendix 5Z0) had a 60 mm piston .
ORGA cut over dates for the various types were 5229 and 7483.
Beware the Biggred rebuild kit for the 57mm calipers as it is common with the 605 caliper.
It does not contain the handbrake component rebuild parts as the genuine Citroen kit does.
None of the kits contain all the bits you show in your photo.
Biggred are a good firm that I too recommend but in this case correspond with them to make sure you actually get what you need.

Re: Wanted Series 1 Bendix Caliper Parts
i hope i did not miss lead persons to thinkung the XM calipers were made by Citroen,
as that was not intended,
i was referring just to the Visa calipers,
although as far as im aware likewise for CX fronts and rear, im also 99% sure are a lot of other Citroen models rear calopers,
like GS/A, BX Xant, XM', and C5's,
and 2CV and GS/A fronts

Hi Malcolm
Same with XM rear calipers both car and estate were made by Citroen in house.
