I have just obtained a hand held 3D pen.
Basically the print head used in a 3D printer mounted in a rather bulky plastic pen case.
It can use PLA or ABS 1.75mm filament as used in the light duty 3D printers.

Will try it on repairing keypad lids and split bumpers first.
Have to see how steady I can be with my arthritic hands.

I'd still be interested in the scuttle as it holds everything in place and the ends are broken off on mine.

I emailed you on Ebay How much do you want for the scuttle panel? It should post ok as very light it will be a start. Seen two ends on ebay one perfect the other a broken freebie chucked in for free. Believe it or not whoever tried to get the panel off broke the screwed ends off the scuttle panel. Once I get a set I'll organise painting. Any one seen how the rest of the screen trim comers off. Have a crack in the bottom O/S corner so looking at getting a new one. I called for a quote and they phoned back with screen prices but the fitter wasn't prepared to fit it as he said they were a nightmare to fit. Any one out there had one done. Side trims look to be glued.

Had one fitted by Autoglass many years back. No problem, done quickly and well.

Side trims were push on when new.
Policy was to replace using new set when the screen was replaced.
Trim sets (more expensive than the glass) went no longer available (UK) a couple of years ago.
Screen fitters may glue if they have to reuse.
Had a few XM ones done over the years, never had a refusal over fitting difficulty.

Fitting an XM screen is no more, and maybe less, complicated than many cars.

The top trim is fixed to the glass, the side trims just lift off.
