The seats are definitely right down. I modified mine to get a bit more room. Need to look into doing that again or buy one with no sunroof.

I'm a little worried by the gearbox hydraulic leak. Bad? Also the fuel pump thing could be expensive. I was hoping that, because it says petrol in the listing, some might not go any further and realise that it's actually diesel, much better, of course

Nope that leak is nothing - it's the usual dribbling of LHM around a seal on the Flow Distributor Valve (FDV)
that is fastened onto the gearbox - it has nothing to do with the actual gearbox!!
I'd be more depressed about the leaky diesel pump and don't forget if you want tunes it'd need a radio and don't
forget a new set of rear spheres. How can it still ride lovely and yet be a bit on the side of jiggly? Budget £90-100
for replacements on the corners and middle rear spheres.
The fact is says Diesel in big lettering on the auction title will have the searches in ebay working fine too! If
someone wants to find it they will!!
I'd say figures mentioned here of 700ish are bang on even with it's long MOT and being a one previous owner car
- 950 may be stretching it accounting for the mileage - has it had a replacement clutch yet!? That all said, as
always, what other non chevroned dross can you buy that can offer the same package/style as an early s1 Xm?
The wild WHM prices are grossly distorting the market and people's expectations - everyone needs a reality check
- if this was the bargain of the century £2k less than WHM why hasn't the buy it now gone or WHM bought it!?
