One more thing about the struts - in most cases they're going to be thinner diameter than most people need as they're 2.0i's - s2 and diesel/v6 cars will be beefier piston diameter. There is of course the mega early maroon 2.1 were it broken - shame as it would be a great fixer upper with panels off the other maroon 2.0i's...

Hi I sent a message on .com about this! I am after a spare set of strut tops for my TCT, and an S1 glove box catch, and an s1 radio cover/door ideally an s1.5 wooden one?

Hi Stewart - I can't make promises about saving things as I really don't have the time
although I'm sure the s1.5 TCT car currently being lightly stripped has tops that have some
surface rust but I'll have a look, the spec was basic "i" so no wood lid and the glove box
catch is (predictably) broken.

DM - rockin' horse poo is easier to find sorry.

That early 2.1TD is interesting, but I just can't have any more projects at the moment, nor can I come over even to help strip parts as I can't drive at present.

Hi Andrew,

As posted in Sales and Wants I am looking for a headlamp washer timer/relay. This is the pink coloured one that sits behind the lower dash trim on the driver's side more or less directly above the accelerator pedal.

Any chance you could have a look? Only 3 Torx screws to remove!! Cheers

Shock horror - a car earmarked for scrap as it needs a lot sorting after the bodywork was ruined by the
pikeys dragging an engine over it in the barn - has a perfect nosecone and ONE chevron,
AND a mint glovebox handle!!

The pink relay sounds familiar ken, does it have to be off a s2 car with headlamp washers as I have broken
one a while ago but I make no promises I'll find it so are you prepared to wait a bit...!?

My 24v needs a spare wheel carrier. For some reason, the one fitted seems to be made of All-Bran :-S Any chances?
