) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Hi Paul
Officially you cannot send the airbag through the post.
Sent via airmail could cause real problems.
Will be cheaper without anyway.
Check with Pascal that his airbag will fit as I have the odd one that was physically the wrong size.

That's cool! Yes, I know shipping is not "free", but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

I think the airbag from non leather wheel will fit. (Can anyone confirm this?)

Correct. Although I am almost certain that there are two different types of airbag, an early type with the test lamp in the wheel. And a later one with the dash airbag light.

The bags might be the same, but the wheels are different. Compare a late series 1 Xantia wheel and bag to a similarly aged Xm and they are different. There is more gubbins in the wheel related to the airbag triggering in the Xm wheels. In the Xantia wheels there is nothing. I have used Xantia wheels in Xms in the past, and have had to make room in the wheel for the extra airbag gubbins.

Your SX XM looks a little different from our SX spec cars. You seem to have electric rear windows where ours had keep fit ones and you have headlamp washers. You also seem to have an extra blank on the central row of switches. Plus the leather seats of course, though those could have been added?
Chris.

chris... headlight washers are possibly a country demand.. like all scadinavian cars have to have headlight washers even the ds had headlight wipers fitted in the 70s for them only..
its defo an sx.. it has manual heater controls.. so the blanks could be no electric mirrors.. and no keypad immobilser and also no heated seats... also to make an extra blank in the row no electric arm rest....
