EWT, the CR is just a code to say its a "Car Hatch" the estate have a different end to them...

Yes i have found it as Mercury grey. From what I have just read anyway on a paint code website anyway.

Annoyingly, I have found a third name for my grey. Titan Grey now. Anthracite and Basalt are the others!

Hi Tony

Get someone to read the ABS ECU faults with a Lexia.
Note the faults recorded for later then try resetting the ECU.
There may be old repaired faults still recorded if its not been on a Lexia recently.
No point in chasing a fault someone has already sorted.
This should clear the ECU of all faults.
Note if the ABS light clears.
If it does run the car and see how long the light stays off.
If it comes back on again get the faults read again.
That should identify the current ABS faults for you to work on.
Come back with the results and we will talk you through fault type and checking.
FCF have a list of people willing to do Lexia checks.
Jim will put in a link to the FCF post.

On your car the ABS relay is about 400mm back and 200mm down from the paint code.
Unfortunately its soldered into the green circuit board screwed to the top of the ABS relay block.
Not a normal standard pluggable relay I am afraid so no quick check by swapping.
