Selling off one (or bits

) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

no wonder they cause the sills to rust...pop-riveting the covers on...

I know...makes me cringe! That and the jack on the sill too...i know its a new car, but ergh!
As body kits go, it is okay. But it does make the car more heavy to look at.

It is quite a "heavy" bodykit, and probably given the choice I'd rather have the bodykit which the 24v featured (especially with the top spoiler too):

Chances of finding one for sale are nil, so beggars can't be choosers I suppose...!

Yeah I see what you mean. It's much lighter and more discreet. But if they are rare, then quite grab what you can I suppose.
Just make sure you rust proof everything!!!

I wonder if the different colours have an underlying effect on how the bodykits come across...
Being white it certainly stands out more, will be interesting to see what it comes out like in the black...
I feel a Photoshop in the pipeline...!

You might be right there. White can make things look great, great contrasts and emphasise features. Ie XM with black trim. Yet for me an XM with all white trim looks caked and overdone. The nice thing about the darker colour is it will pick up highlights which should lighten it up.
I reckon yours might look quite good actually. Look forward to seeing it.

Be good to get it done...
2014 is 25 years of the XM and 40 years of the CX so the CX, XM & Xantia Rally 2014 is going to be a good bash...!
Looking at getting the XM Prestige,
CX Rally Car (with interior recreated) and Roger's Prestige there as it's a special anniversary...

Very interesting find Russ but I am afraid these body kits do not light my fire!! Seeing those cheeky chaps glue and pop rivet on the bumpers sections and skirts also does not persuade me they are a good idea!! Just out of interest what happens if you want to remove a front wing one day? Regards, Matthew T.

I hadn't worked that one out. Amazing....I hope it certainly will be a good bash.
CX rally car is impressive.
I'm with you Matthew on the body kit...it looks a bit crude at how they fit it too.
