Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Guess you could send him a text with a clear statement of intent subject to viewing or offer a modest deposit?
The crack on the screen is a cost waiting to mug your wallet one way or another even indirectly.

Done, its ours!

Didnt want to risk losing it, even though i vowed never to buy another car without seeing it. Seemed a good discription and if it differs too much then there is always the option to leave it there.

I hope its as good as it sounds!

Hopefully arrange to get it on wednesday. :)

Hell!! :o Just blame me for 'pressurising' you turning the thumbscrews if it all goes down the pan! ;)
Looks nice Chris, that space vacated by the silver XM didn't last long and it wasn't an Activa wot done
it neither!! Least it's another 4 pedal car!!!

If it's a pile of poo the description misrepresented the car and you have every right to walk away.
Sellers cannot leave negative feedback anyhow.

Yes, it will be your fault Andrew

Ive mentioned it before but we did buy a 96 2.0 auto estate Xm on ebay before, drove over 700 miles in a day to fetch it and it was a load of rubbish. So that kind of tought me a lesson. This one is much closer though ...

Im hopeing it will be as good as it says. Main problem is that paintwork, thats going to need doing. Looks almost like a S1 maroon on the drivers wing and door, though the pictures might make that look worse than it is. The screen is annoying but if its not in the view of the drivers eye then it can stay for a while.

Despite these faults i think its a very good buy, although i think Xms should be worth more so i would say that!

Main reason the silver hatch went was it isnt much use having two hatchbacks when we have two big dogs, so an estate would be ideal and this one sounds even more ideal than most! Still it wont be a daily car so will remain lowish mileage.

Im thinking with it having FSH it will have had a cambelt, but knowing our luck ...

Ooooh, exciting! Not driven a diesel Xm myself so another new experience

Brave man :)

In all seriousness though, it does look like a good car, and as Andrew says, if you find issues with it that have not been discussed have no qualms about walking away, as it would be he who had broken contract.

Best of luck!

I cannot recall, what breed of dogs have you got? My two Boxers love riding in the back of the Activa as they
don't get thrown around so much although obviously I don't go hooning about as though I were on my own in it!!!
Of all the cars they hop into it keener than the others.
