White XM S1 on eBay

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

If you look at CX's, I believe the petrol motors will become more sought after eventually anyway. Years ago the CX to have seemed to be the DTR Turbo Safari, as it was a fast economic load lugger capable of huge mileages. Now most CX's only cover a small mileage each year, and the majority of the surviving diesels are worn out. People are going for tidy petrols these days as they haven't been run into the ground, have much lower mileages on them and the fuel penalty over a couple of thousand miles a year is low enough to be outweighed by condition.

I'm all for clean air, but let Boris get properly stuck into the thousands of diesel taxis and buses. If he did a bit more homework before persuing vanity projects, he might have found out that some of his hyper-expensive hybrid buses actually consume more fuel than some of those they replaced, with their smaller diesel engines racing their nuts off in an attempt to keep the batteries charged and the motors turning.

And while I'm having a go at the clown, perhaps he could look at Manston for his new airport. All it needs is an HS1/CTRL rail link. The motorway's already there, the area is high-unemployment, and fields of cabbages and open sea are ideal for planes to take off over.

Oh dear.
