andmcit.... thanks for the info but i dont like them trims!!! the xm im hoping that comes my way has alloy wheels which i dont want hence the hunt for series one trims!!! that is very handy info on the wheel bolts

As the post June1998/99 manufactured (RP7847 >) XM O/E alloys styles are actually called 'Ville De Monte Carlo' or 'New Etoile' due to the thinner section thro' the wheel rim/hub and the shorter 42mm (Under head) stud/bolts (So if your fitting 'Monte Carlo' or 'Etoile' alloys off another XM which don't come with the original stud/bolts make sure you source the correct ones) refer to pages 9,10 &11 (Thumbnails 11,12 &13 respectively) of THIS pdf fileandmcit wrote: The alloy wheels also use m12 bolts, with a 1.25 pitch thread and a
