'J' plate SD saloon available!!

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

I'm thinking about the headlights....if good.... and the gear stick and gaiter. Annoyingly mine has split on top of the handle.

If there is nobody able to restore the car I might be able to arrange collection and dismantling, but I would need some help and do not feel Bob's driveway would be the best place! Regards, Matthew T.

I don't want to restore it, but before we garrot this car, what kind of condition is it really in. Should it be saved...after all, it has Romana velour.... :D

Common thing to happen isn't it. Annoying. I have thought of getting a leather cover for it maybe. Might be easier than replacing with a new one, only for it to happen again. ;)

Yeah I don't think Bob would appreciate it having his pride and joy gutted on his drive. :?

It would be a shame to strip a good car. If it is rotten then fair enough. Don't like the idea of killing an XM unnecessarily, even if a good proportion of the parts are used.

I think my name would be on that . . . especially after the fun and games of getting one.

Thoroughly agree. If it's a good car that just needs a bit of tlc it would be crime to strip it.

the danger is if it is sold out of the community at scrap price, that is almost exactly what will happen to it.

It has an auto box and its in Norfolk and it's an S1 and therefore I am out!

And that's the point - if we don't want it, what will happen to it.
