Breaking XM 2.1td manual

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

do, but in my experience, it can't be still driving on it's own for long. Your car got Bendix ABS sensors?

If you've green connectors, they are Bendix, Teves has blue ones. You would have to keep them where they are though, you'll ruin them trying to take them out. Let me know when you find out, please!

Citroen XM 2.1TD diesel engine and manual gearbox

Engine has done 172k-ish miles, with head gasket and clutch changed at 144k - uses no water, uses no oil, complete with all ancillaries (hydraulic pump, alternator, turbo, starter motor, etc) - you will need to remove it - but front end of car will already be dismantled so access will be easy. Bosch mechanical pump. Help, coffee, tools, jack, axle stands, engine hoist, angle grinder, etc., all here. I won't split bits off it. Last oil change circa 4,000 miles ago - a very willing engine with super smooth clutch operation. £100.

Campbell, do you have a blue nosecone?

Also do you think the sunroof cassette is courierable?

Cheers

Also after:
Headlight washer covers
Nearside door mirror
Keypad cover
And I might need a stereo!

Richard

Dollyw has first dibs on the spare cassette - one in car is non working - never explored to find out why as it is sealed!

nosecone is cracked - thanks to wall but repairable easily.

one headlamp washer cover is good, the other probably repairable.

Nearside door mirror ideally comes with door

stereo works and has code but can cut out after prolonged use - great for shortish journeys up to abut three hours but not if you fiddle with it on a long trip.

keypad cover - you poor sod, you must have an Epic pumped car - no codes on this one so no cover.

Hi Campbell, I'll definitely take the washer covers off you, don't worry about mirror, I think I've found one. The nosecone I'll let you know about tomorrow as I have found a good blue in the scrap but might take yours anyway as it is a consumable!

I do have dibs on a cassette in liecester just haven't had a chance to get down

Keypad... I've got the cover but the hinge is knackered, it is the rubbishesest plastic.

Is it easy to remove the keypad and disable the immobiliser?

Stereo, sounds like my one is better, I just need to confirm it's a dead fuse.

It's very frustrating being do far from you as you know I would have taken the car had I been able to get down in November. Also I have leather seats from a mk1 but would ideally like a set from a mk2.. Yours would have been great.

Oh well..
