Hi Dave, the steering wheel is still available, how does £30 plus post sound ? that's what I gave for it a while ago. Not sure about sending the airbag though - I don't think that the postal authorities appreciate explosive devices sent through the post![]()
Cheers, Colin.P
i'll need the airbag

is the horn on the steering wheel or is it on a stalk (getting confused with xantia mk2)

Will your existing airbag fit?
I think airbags are the same on all Mk2 XM steering wheels.

Re: Breaking my 2,1td s2 estate :-(
I have noticed differences between S1 Xantia and S2 XM steering wheels. Some of the gubbins in the steering wheel itself are different. I think it must be part of the triggering mechanism.
The xantia has an airbag warning light in the instrument panel, whereas the Xm has a warning light in the steering wheel itself. Correct me if I'm wrong folks. As the 2000 Xm I had also had a side airbag warning light pictogram thing.

'Strut tops will indeed be coming off as they're in great condition - they're actually a pair from a hydractive car that I had to manufacture reducers for as the piping on non-hydo cars is a lot smaller. I've spent a lot of time and money on this car over the years grumble grumble...'
Forgive me straying off subject. I have an early (1992) S1 2.1d and was under the impression that it was hydractive - albeit system 1 rather than system 2. Could someone clear this up? I'm wondering now if i'm running it on the wrong spheres.

Does anyone have any word on what's happening here, we don't appear to have had any input from Colin for a few weeks now?
