You can end an auction right up until the end time depending on the reason

If details in the listing are incorrect or misleading the seller may end the auction, there are a couple of other reasons too but i cant remember them.

Just to let you know that it has been necessary to relist on a 24hr auction because the previous listing was removed somewhat at the last moment by ebay, apparently because I had used 'DS, CX in the title!! The idea was to attract enthusiasts for other Citroen models and I have seen this done very many times before. Needless to say I am extremely annoyed given the progress that was being made and I intend to make a formal complaint. With regards, Matthew T.

You needed to say it was not a DS or CX.

Presumably they removed due to misrepresentation of item.

The DS, CX etc. was enclosed in brackets after the main title Will and from the photos and description I think it was fairly obvious what was actually being sold!! There was indeed a suggested misrepresentation, but why wait nearly three days and until less than three hours before the end to remove the listing? Regards, Matthew T.

I suspect they only look at listings on the final day, or if they are reported.
