I think anything should go back on the road hence the grey SD and the Manderin Im now breaking which is rather worse for holes then I first though...

It's too expensive for me to buy on my tod and I have no need for another Xm but forking out a couple of hundred and using some of the existing spares wouldn't make it dear.

I do agree, it must be saved. I think it could go back on the road very easily. It looks very good from Matthews pics and description.
Pity it is an auto....couldn't thwack in a manual instead!!

Where exactly is it in Norfolk and I can get a shiply quote for moving it. It is worth scrap at the moment. Ie around £200 with £200 to move it and whatever it would cost to put back on the road. Previous experience tells me it'll need £3-400 to get MoT'd as a minimum so call it £900 all in to see it roadworthy again. That assumes using secondhand spares if needed.
What's it worth with an mot? Probably around the same price! So there would be no profit apart from the satisfaction of saving it and maybe even a loss! I'm happy to live with that to rescue one as a £100 loss only equates to £33 each.

That is true Campbell. Blimey if it was a manual, i would love to store it away for myself...but it isnt!

If it can be bought dirt cheap, then maybe yes it might be a plan. I think the car is in Dereham. The milage I got was 209. Depends on route though.
