Everything else from my V6 has been sold and what remained of the car body has now been scrapped. I’m very pleased to say the 24V engine & 5 speed gearbox package has been passed on, so hope to see it in another XM before long!

Please tell me that the front plastic dashboard section (sits under the windscreen) didn't go to the crusher - they are like gold in Australia!

Oh dear, there’s always a piece that’s needed after the car has been scrapped, no matter how many things are stripped off it.

I’m not sure about speed of dismantling, I think it must have taken me about 10 man hours spread across 3 weeks. And a couple of other folk have also spent a few hours here taking off difficult things like the rear quarter windows, tow bar etc. As long as we all put a zero value on our labour time it’s all good fun

I'm sure the bumper tow hook covers would certainly sell well Marc.. I'm always being asked for them.
