Someone save this car! Does the owner think he has a Xantia to give up on the car for a duff heater matrix.

Goddammit Robert, that's tempting, even though it's a diesel IT IS A MANUAL.
I've messaged the seller for more info on the car as a going concern.

Try not to laugh, but my collection of misfit legal cars is doing it's best to confound me using
them and an easy fix legal stopgap daily DERV towcar would be very welcome under the
circumstances. A better prospect too than the G plater 210k miles maroon one I have in storage
that needs the clutch fitting correctly (don't ask, previous owner muppet).

I'm going to have to get realistic about my expanded collection of cars and thin things down and the one key
thing I'm lost without at the moment is a tow car. I rebuilt my 2.0i TCT's front and rear suspension after my
excursion in it but it didn't work out and it's not right and if I'm honest may never be right.
This leaves an immediate alternative s2 green 2.1 manual estate which on first usage I managed to burn the
clutch and swipe the front bumper off!
The other cars including Xantiae I have are too small or aren't immediately available. I do have a recent black
2.5 Exclusive but it has a voracious appetite for aux belts and cannot be trusted despite money and effort being
thrown at it...
So. Peter, if you do get over to see it, I'd be very interested in your thoughts about it. I'm awaiting a reply from
the seller but wonder whether his busy modem may make him hold out for big money.

The man I bought the white estate from also had a busy modem - I still got it for £150.00 though, but that was a couple of years ago before they became a collectors item. I too have mailed him with no reply, I have to go to Weston Super Mare to pick up a generator I bought on ebay so I will be going almost past the door - assuming I can actually get out!

I don't think he is all that keen to sell it, I have asked him to phone me but still no response.
