As title posting just spotted on E-Bay, something to read on these cold dark nights XM book and DS book
Note only ONE HOUR left before the listings end

Got the XM book, would like the DS book, but a bit tight this month now....

Is the Ds book any good, I've not seen one available although I've heard about it.
Think I'll have a bid. The other official Cit book is very good with some interesting
development stuff. There was one on £4.99 buy-it-now with free postage a week or so back!

Hi Paul,
I've had one of the XM books now for many years, I've had a look thro' it when I first bought it but to-date I've not read it from cover to cover yet
I also have a couple of the 1:18 scale Solido XM model dealer promotion cars

The local Citroen dealer had a pile he didn't know what to do with in his brochure cupboard
and very kindly let me have one for nowt knowing I'm a real sad Citroen geek. Nice enough job really
although the tone is very much a pr gloss with a hint of self congratulation! Decent photograhy too.
The model was commissioned by Citroen for the launch the same as the book and a nice job done of
it too with a special box to match the brochure.

I've always been into car literature and it's why I'm now a graphic designer ever since I was a Ninja
brochurestealer nipper!!

Speaking about new Citroen books, there appears to be a NEW BOL (aka Haynes Book of lies) for the C5!!
One for Chris and steelcityuk!?

The XM books are good, there is another one I have by Jan P Norbye, its another good read.

I got the C5 BOL for my old boy as well. I haven't had much of a look at it yet, but I suspect that it will be handy for using on the C6 as well (if I get one), both having Hydractive 3+

The Norbye book is the better (more informative of the two though it
wastes a lot of space being multi language (German/English/Italian IIRC)
The photography is still very good and the narrative isn't so 'lick-ass'.
Bought the book at the NEC Motorshow years back for £2!!

Jings, I wish I go mine for £2. The Norbye book is harder to get a hold of, I think I paid full price for it. I got the Sauzay book for nothing on e-bay.

Since you like brochures, have you got the Quatre Saisons CX book? Created for the Launch of the CX in the USA in 1979

Yep. a great book; I'd recommend it to any CX fan! Thanks for mentioning it Robert,
I only discovered this a couple of years back!
