Certainly is a cheap way to tidy up a tatty series 2 car. The seats look nice and clean.

I was tempted just to have as spares for the car my father now uses. This may be heresy but I'm even considering them
as a swap for some slightly worn 1/2 & 1/2 leather Exclusive grey black seats! They look nice and fresh but the rear
driver's side bolster looks all rucked up and even appears to have a repair stitched in or maybe it's just a trick of the
light on a crease. Nice if you must have electric s2 seats though! Velour non electric are best though!! ;)

Hi Andrew,

Is it the alcantara leather you are planning to swop?

I think its the light thats playing tricks on you. I'd swop the runners over, and sit on the passengers seat.

They look something like the material in my SX although they are not electric of course but I think they look nicer than the standard VSX ones. 190k in mine and still look nearly new

Eh? Is that possible? I thought I read on here that driver and passenger seats can't be swapped. Something to do with the mountings being diferent.

No :o I think the standard VSX seats (light grey pin stripe) are the nicest of the lot. I think these later ones look really ordinary.

But they do look to be in very good condition though.

You could have them in the living room for the Top Gear look.. or a LayZee-Boy on the cheap.
