Re: 3.5mm Citroen pipe flaring tool
I'll have a punt so long as the price doesn't get silly
But...If anyone here has one of these that they'd be prepared to lend to me I could use it as a template to copy and produce new tooling for anyone on here who would like a set for a good price (I'll not be trying to make my fortune doing this but don't mind helping out club members to repay some of the help I've had from here).

Well, not long now (under 2 hours) and the price is getting stronger.
I'm not sure what the new going rate is but think it can't be that much
more though I'm not even sure if they can still be bought. I got mine
20 years ago when I bought a Cx and the seller included it in the sale.

Well, if it makes the price more bearable these are totally indispensable
when it comes to workarounds and rescues with Cit hydraulics. It's a rare
day when any pipe larger than the 3.5mm causes grief though I have been
caught out after a few oddballs - namely the fat rear ram feed on an Xm!

Pleiades used to sell one, sure! Never saw an official price but was told it
was around £45. Going back a few years now though. If you're handy with
your own fabrication kit/lathe it's a straightforward set up to make the
tool mind. Rarely seen apart from the £200 vice mounted jobby but this
is only used with complete renewal rather than specific stiched in repairs.

Just bought one from Pleidaes at £56.00. It looked similar to the one on offer, they used to sell both sizes for this price along with some spare piping and ends. I tried to get a set for the last two years and now I have one maybe a pipe will never burst. I hope.
