Wanted : Boot strut

Due to the coagulating damp leaves from a tree near my parking spot, the bottom fitting of a boot strut (passenger/nearside) has rusted away.
Anyone got one that I can get the end fitting off of? Obviously it doesn't need to be a working strut, just not rusted away!

Thanks for the links. The page linked to shows :-
Steel Ball Joints - SBJ-2
Dimensions
Type A: 20
Type B: 13
Type C: M6x1.0
Type D: M6x1.0
Suitable for Gas Strut SD01 or SD02
I've just measured the strut on my car, and it has a diameter of 8mm. Not knowing much about thread etc, but should that be an M8 ball joint?
