Im sure that turned up at Weatherby CCC meet the other month!!

Looked very very tidy aswell, well worth the current bid!

Mine, also on LPG, is no were near as clean as that!

Hi Paul,

If you were only there on the Saturday (As I was) are you possibly getting this one mixed up with ianbrearley's LPG MK2 maybe, it's the one in the middle as shown in the photo below (Which he bought from Steve/SteelcityUK) ?

As I cannot remember the current E-Bay MK1.5 being there on the Saturday at least !

seems to be fetching good money considering the seller thinks the turbo is siezed up.......... :?
MY FRIEND SEEMS TO THINK THAT THE IMPELLOR IN THE TURBO IS SEIZED DUE TO BEING STOOD...HE HAS NEVER BOTHERED TO INVESTIGATE THE TURBO ISSUE
Oh it would drive fine (i know ive just bought one with a siezed blower) but im wondering if people have read this far down before bidding?

I would have thought with a siezed turbo it would be sllllowwwww - because the impellar wheel would be an airflow restriction in the air flow into the engine...

Personally I'd be very surprised at a seized turbo, after all there will have been some oil sat there and the exhaust pressure will push it round easily, especially after a few heat cycles would free off any seizing.

it certainly has not on my Activa, siezed solid as a rock............drives fine but it is slow yes, still gets up to speed though, eventualy :lol:

You'd not be wanting to carry too much luggage in it --- tank and battery in the boot. Persoanlly, I would have gone for a tank mounted where the spare normally lives and then tried for a suitable space saver rim to live in the boot. If he is presuming the turbo is duff due to a lack of grunt, I think I'd be inclined to suspect the gas system first.
