What great pictures!
Worth a punt Peter, even if its not an estate.

Not for me I'm afraid, I had a hatch, repaired it,drove, got the 'T' shirt, there is nearly as much room in the BMW estate as there is in an XM hatch

. Estate only for me, I'm still lugging building materials, 3 piece suites and the like about and the XM must be the biggest estate car on the market, apart from the 'E 'class, they fall to pieces and you can't get a manual, so I've ruled them out.
Seriouly though, once the 2.1 has had the H/G replaced, and the clutch I think on this one, there is nothing really expensive to go wrong, should be a good buy for someone.

Sounds like you could justify getting a CX Safari as well Peter

I would love a DTR Turbo 2 Safari, if an immaculate one came up for not much money, do you know of one?

You'll not be the only one in that waiting line!

I'd be in line too - tempted with dollywobbler's 2.5 petrol estate though on the BX forum
