Front Brake Disks 3.0i or 2.5TD £2.50 on Ebay

Just noticed, genuine Citroen brake disks, finishes tomorrow morning, no bids yet, Item number: 140525194039.

Was it one for the left hand disc and the second post for the right hand disc

I rang the Parts Manager, Paul Taylor ( @ Yeomans Citroen are based in Marsh Barton 11 Hennock Road, Central Exeter, Devon, EX2 8NP. Their phone number is 01392 431 431) to clarify what size the disc actually are !

As there are only three type's :-
a) 276mm dia. x 24mm thk. (Early models)
b) 283mm dia, x 26mm thk. (Most common size/models)
c) 288mm dia. x 28mm thk. (Very late models)

All the above are vented too !

* Citroen Front Brake Discs.
* Fits XM II 3.0i Petrol and 2.5 Diesel ES9J4 and DK5ATE tpe engines.
* Diameter 228 x 28.
* Citroen Part Number 4246T82.
* Brand New in Original Box.

So as the listing did NOT align with any of the sizes given /\ in a),b) or c) , this prompted the call to them !

It transpires that the umbrella company/services (Stepping Stone) had screwed up the listing and it should have been 288mm dia. x 28mm thk.

So those disc's will not be of any use to majority of us, I just hope they do fit the XM of the buyer of these disc's as my local main agent could not even find the O/E part no. (4246T82) listed !

The listing is right about the XM models.
The final type was ONLY fitted to late V6's and 2.5's not the smaller engine models.
From memory these late car rear discs changed also.
So perhaps they are rears.

They were definitively for the front as they were the vented type (Check the photo) in THIS link !

As already stated, I spoke to the parts manager (Paul Taylor who was helpful/knowledgeable) and who knew exactly what should have being listed for sale, it was 'Stepping Stone' company that hosted the E-Bay listing that screwed up the description !

I bought these discs to go on a 2000 V6 Exclusive. Don't need them yet but thought that they'd be handy to have on the shelf for the price they fetched.

I didn't do much looking into it but saw the ES9J4 engine code listed so bid on them.

I also bought a set of brake pads from him that were listed for a Xantia V6 so they can go on one of our Xantia's if they don't fit the XM.
