hi, i have for sale a full set of electric + heated leather seats including door cards. all in pretty good condition and all working when removed from a 1992 3L v6 xm . also a pair of wing mirrors again heated + electric. if you want the seats or the mirrors please pm me. i can arrange postage for the mirrors but the seats will be collection only sorry. thanks for taking the time to read this

I recall I enquired about these before when your pal/brother etc advertised them on the older Xm forum.
What price are you after for the seats; any more V6 bits available from where these came from?

Leather seats aren't really my thing (especially on a day like today!!) but my father likes them and may
be interested, what reg car and saloon/estate were they removed from - they appear to be s1 pre '94?

i think i can remember that too, they are from a 1992 so yes i think they are s1 my brother was hoping for 75quid for the whole lot seats+mirrors. unfortunately the car was scrapped, if i had known they were in demand i would have informed my brother to part the whole thing out instead of just the seats. thanks for your interest.

Series 1.5 Leather door cards with the WOOD inserts is a little harder to get hold of!

It was in the 24v Series 1 from the start, but only fitted to SEi trim from about 1992 onwards, so not many had it...

the car itself looked really nice. i believe it was an exclusive? not sure, but it had a 3l v6 24v with a little box you had to tap the code into to start the car. unfortunately the car suffered from tin worm, it was so bad that a jack went up thru the floor

We would have fought for that engine and box!!

I'll see how my finances cope with the purchase of another Xm (don't ask!!) and repairs to one I've already got
(see comments elsewhere) but I'm pretty sure I'll buy the seats as I'm so local and would be daft not to! The
one's I've fitted into my 24v are just bog standard V6 12v one's and don't have the extra lumbar support
adjustment knob jobby on the driver's seat (sad I know, but if another Xm addict saw it on my 24v'er I'm sure
it'd be pointed out!!

I can't believe a local 24'ver to me got scrapped!! To definitely confirm it was a 24v car was it manual or auto!!?

it was an auto, sad thing about it was it started right up and was then driven to sims metals they gave 140quid for it as scrap weight and it was put straight into what looked like a paper shredder. its always sad to see a car go that way

Ouch, a V too, always difficult to watch!

Andrew, if you're buying the lot, do you have plans for the doorcards?
