I would at least want to know what tyres they were and how much tread.

I did wonder about that. Not in the market for wheels myself, happy enough with my 24v alloys but thought someone else may need some wheels, I'd bet the seller would be happy to negotiate.
Peter I sent you a PM about being in Charmouth last weekend but not sure if you received it, I think the PM system on this forum is a bit hit & miss so you may not have got it.
