As title listing (L104 MJO ) spotted for sale on AUTO-TRADER, when I first saw the listing/lead photo I thought it was MK2 and manual :o (Maybe one for Peter) ?

But its a LHD S1.5 model with a MK2 front bumper with headlamp washers fitted (With typical missing covers on it) !

Although its a tidy looking (One owner vehicle) it looks like the glove-box catch is broken and I'm sure that'll be fun sourcing one for a LHD model in the UK

Maybe okay for someone who does a lot of European travel of has a villa out in Spain ?

Was that not for sale a while ago? I remember there being a similar estate in LHD with big miles.

I too thought the same Robert, but perhaps you were thinking of the German registered one which was a 2.5td with the nice Leather interior as discussed in THIS thread ?

Excuses, excuses Peter!

A French chap moved over to Belfast with his LHD 2.5 Exclusive last year and called by for some headlamps and MPH Speedo for MOT so he could register his car here. I drove his car on the roads around where I live and got used to it very, very quickly. I would drive a LHD XM if it was in exceptional condition, a rare model, or the price was right / some combination of the three. If the French chap was to part with his 2.5 at the right money, I wouldn't hesitate. He has a nice 2.5 Exclusive with 85K miles.

I drove a LHD 2.1td Xm a couple of months ago as the owner had called for some parts and wanted my opinion on a couple of issues he had.

All in the car was a bit battered, but did have 550,000 kilometers on the clock, but it drove very well indeed, the clutch was wonderfully light and precise.
