I believe from memory, as this caught my eye at the time, It was for sale at WHM. But that was several years ago..2005 possibly.
I can only assume it went to Ireland from there. How many owners it has had since then, no idea.

Hi Malcolm,
Don't know if you remember me, I was interested in a nice looking 2.1 manual estate in silver you had at the end of last year - i went for a BX GTi in the end.

If this car is registered as Irish it will be worth a little more over here as cars retain some residual VRT(vehicle registration tax) value which has to be paid on all cars here, new or imported s/h. I sold my previous XM (very clean/good 60k miles 1997 2.0 16v auto) for 2300 euro. That cost 720 euro to register - thats the minimum!

Malcolm's car is on a L plate. It was previously registered in NI. There should be no problem to register it again with Swansea. Send in the V5 complete to Swansea with a sorn or tax form, and they will send you a new V5. Job done. The problem was with the vendor not the car. I know who that car used to belong to over here, and he said the person he sold it to was "difficult".

Difficult XM drivers? :) Never met one yet..so it must have been the XM problems on that car:):)?? By the way, I got to drive that ' very clean/good, now 98000 miles to drive this weekend for over 600 miles. Still going very strong. I hope Jim will find solutions to all ABS problems soon. Have to go to work on that one as well, soon.
