Hi Guys,

Not my car, but the owner is buying one off me, and I am trying to help him sell it. So here goes!

1997 2.1 TD SX Manual. Located in Northern Ireland.

Magenta in colour.

Tax is due to expire, but will be taxed (not sure for 6 or 12 months) so he can remove his personal registration number.

MOT to 16th November 2013.

177K miles

Timing belt changed at 146K.

The car drives very nicely, and is clean and presentable. Its not perfect, but its Ok.

Has only ever towed a very light trailer hence the home made towbar which will be removed and a genuine towbar fitted, or none if that is preferred,

Hi Rob,

I see you've met Gordon then? He's a gent

I bumped into him and his XM in Belfast one time, I told him about you, Roger and his 2CVs, the rest of the gang, and the forum of course. He emailed me a few times although I didn't know he was planning on selling the XM.

Speaking of the car, for anyone else interested, I can vouch that it's clean, tidy and drives well

I met Gordon a couple of years ago. He is a gent, and very sharp for his years.

His car has lived down my part of the country for most of its days, its previous owner was in Banbridge.
