This I believe is a well trodden path Vince.
Bumpers are the worst to find. Not sure if they are still available. Side trims can be bought from Brian Primmer I think through the CCC. They are stainless steel, but are difficult to fit. Look great if done though. Chris...Citroenmad...did his Xantia ones in jans copy of the Citroenian. Useful tutorial! I would like to do mine...just need to summon the courage!

I'm sure someone might have something. But I believe mk1 & 2 front bumper trims might be different.

 franklin beat me too it!

They're not too bad to fit, just time consuming if you want to do a proper job.

You can get away with sliding over the top of old ones, but really you want to take mouldings off and affix properly from behind.

Will PM address now for you Vince...

I think Chris (Citroenmad) has found it best to remove the whole thing when replacing the trims on a Xantia, but on the XM it can be doen with the plastic trims in place. The most important things are to find an appropriate silicon adhesive and to not kink the replacement trims when fitting them as they can't be unkinked.

On my car, the driver's side seems to have been replaced but not the passenger's which seems odd! Fortunately, I kept the old ones taken off my last XM, and so I hope to be able to improve the short section on the wing which always seems to age worst.
