W reg silver xm 3ltr exclusive hatchback.
Just to let you all know the car is back on the road.
S/H Automatic Gearbox stripped,checked and rebuilt before fitting including 7ltrs of the correct oil.
Car now drives first class,still some work to finish off and bring up tp spec.
New battery supplied and fit.car will be fully serviced and checked through before its sold.
Body work clean,straight and tidy.
If anyone can help when or if the cambelt kit was changed it would help.
The cars been sold a few times on e,bay so maybe someone can help further.If not will replace before its sold.

Ah, was this the one on eBay with no drive from the gearbox? Excellent if it is..well done. Looks great.
I'm sure the previous owner is on here...or FCF...if it is the car I think it is.

Russ, Indeed the last owner of W646 OFJ is a member on here, however Ray sold the 24v/V6 because of work commitments abroad !

Malcolm, I've read/looked thro' the previous E-bay listing and cannot see anything relative to any Cam-belt change info, did it not come with any service history which may be hiding in the 'book-pack' hopefully ?

Good luck with the Sale once you've sorted out what it needs, I'm sure it will be a good buy for someone as with all your recommissioned XM's !

I'd buy it as long as I never had to get in and look at the dashboard...

I can't believe I turned down a Silver 2.1 Exclusive Auto for peanuts, because it had a blown head gasket plus some other issues...

I thought it was Rays. Nice to know it went to Malcolm and is now pretty much sorted.

I so agree with you Will...I really like S2's like this one, but it's the interiors I'm just not interested in I'm afraid.

I may just know a person who might be interested. You know him actually and I believe he's already (or will soon) be asking you to look out for a nice XM for him...

I can't think of a nicer one than this one for him really, especially as the person who may be interested has owned V6 Xantias in the past...

WOW. XM are being sold like hot cakes if these at Savoy go from these enquiries.

price wise not sure iv placed a price on my website of what i would like but can dream.
i try to be realistic with the prices,if i can buy at the right price and sort them i can sell at the right price.
The car is not finished yet,requires a cam-belt kit,water pump and full service + the leather requires treating.
Will not be sold till im happy.
If Mike is our friend/customer,he would like a diesel.he,s been a friend / customer for a number of years now and bought a number of citroens from me.A good honest person to know.
