In need of a headlining for a hatch with sunroof.

Re: Headlining
You could get the black one from sandbach and recover it in grey. If the car is still there.

Re: Headlining
I was gonna say, there isn't any difference between S1 and S1.5.

Re: Headlining
It might be that your car was designed sans sunroof and one was added after it was built.
Just get the whole lot out of a car.
Did you manage to make contact with Sandbach?

Re: Headlining
The light you have is the type generally fitted on non-sunroof cars Eddie, so Will may be correct in his suggestion. I did see the same light in another 'G' plate 2.0sei with a sunroof however, so may be it was just used in very early models. Out of interest what is the RP number of the car? Regards, Matthew T.

Re: Headlining
The problem is that all UK cars had sunroofs, so either a headlining and light swap, or get a headlining from a foreign car and modify it. A third option would be to make one from foam-board and material.

Not against taking the full lot out of any car. Would the fixing holes for the bigger light be fitted into this car as standard? If not what kind of job am I looking at to make the light fit?
The third option I am already on. Use a board from a car with the bigger light and cut it so the light hole would then be the same size as mine and add in some strong cardboard to marry up to the right size. Fairly straight forward. The problem is I would need a small amount of the same cloth or the cloth at the front part of the sunroof to enable me to marry up the cloth.
And all this because the guy who had it for ten years didn't like it. Seriously . . . he didn't like the headlining so took it out.
(Same story with the spoiler, wouldn't be surprised if that's why there's no speakers
)
Matthew, whatever has happened here this is not a 1980's trip down the market for a sunroof cut a whole in the roof job, this is a factory fitted sunroof with a fully fitted moulding. Everything fitted at source, everything working.
RP Number below
