All parts for a series 1 2.0 Si estate.

A pair of headlight diffusers (I think that's what they're called).

Driver's side door handle, unless someone knows another part that is at fault which allows me to open the driver's door while the doors are locked.

Door opening when locked you mean the outer door handle unlocks the car when you pull it?

Thats a tricky one. Sounds more lile a lock fault rather then a door handle.. can you remove the door card and check whats happening when you pull the handle.. it may be catching the inside handles opening linkage (outer and inner handles use different links to the lock) but my initiale guess is a faulty door lock unit.

Defusers? What are those?

The diffusers are bits of plastic that sit in front of the headlight bulbs inside the lamp units. They spread the light out.

Yes, you understand the door locking problem correctly. All of the other doors will not open when you pull the handle, but a tug on the driver's door handle easily opens the door. It will be something within the locking mechanism that should engage, but doesn't. I suppose I'll have to do as you say and remove the door card. The pin goes up and down properly.

Ahhhh you know..i think i have a pair of those that were removed from a pair of lamps for some stupid reason.. ill try find them again. If not theres about 10 pairs of lamps in the shed plus another pair about to come off the current dismantler...

Edit.. oh no im thinking reflectors.. let me have a look at my lamps and see if ive got some crap reflector lamps i can take them out of for you..

I can always take a pair of lamps if that's easier. Let me know how much to post to Birmingham.

If you can do the diffusers on their own that would be easier and cheaper to post. Let me know how much when you find them. Thanks.

Diffusers are handed beam deflectors.
Fit them the wrong way round and you get a LHD beam.

From memory, don't they have an arrow on them?
