Car and estate back seat backs are different widths.
Other than that everything is interchangable.
The Peasepottage leather was priced at £200 no offers so most likely got crushed with the car.
More typical price for XM leather seats is £100 a set.
Usually this price does not include the door cards.
Estate leather was most commonly found in Mk1 XM estates's.
Most have already gone to scrap.
Many scrapyards now crush XM's on arrival due to the low demand for spares.
Buying a scrap car to strip will usually set you back £200 (scrap value) plus moving costs.
Best of luck with the search.

Might be worth asking Southerner on here as he was stripping an estate with leather recently.

Cheers John :)

I'd already known abou the size problem but a shame that leather is getting harder to find for them.
Worst case is if i like it enough it will get a retrim as long as its not a squillion quid :)

Cheers for the welcome XMX, there will be a big post if i get hold of the one i want without it being sent to the crusher! Although im sure a fair few may not like the one i end up with :)
