Does anyone have a front bumper with washer jets, n/s/f wing, side light and a grille for sale.
all series 2 and if the parts are in black I would be very happy.
Got quite a tight budget to repair the car so need to work out how much this is going to cost me.

Thanks
Richard

I thought a 3rd party was paying for the damage repair.

Its getting a bit ridiculous now. They offered to pay out for the repairs without going through insurance which I agreed to do. They asked me to get a quote for the repair which I did and then they made a stupidly low offer of £150 then £200 and wouldn't go any higher. I refused this offer so i'm now taking it through insurance. I was thinking of starting to source the parts so when they do eventually pay out I can just change the parts over and take it somewhere to get painted. Paint alone would cost me more than 200.

The car will likely just get written off by most insurance co's and go against the other driver as a total loss.

There is one breaking down south that i am grabbing some bits off but they have already taken the washers off for me :)

As a 3rd party you can insist on a repair being performed, irrespective of cost.

There are two scrap/refurbish black 2.5's just been offered on the other XM forum.
North Yorks though.

As far as parts are concerned it is the condition of the bumper support beam and the fibreglass slam panel that would concern me.
Many XM supports are rusted beyond repair and slam panels easily broken in incidents.
It would be a pity to start repairs and find they needed to be sourced as well.
If not already reported tell your insurance company about the accident.
All must be reported even if there is no intention to claim.
