2.1 SD for sale. SED interior.

So I'm selling my Platinum Silver 2.1 Turbo Diesel SD. Automatic. L449SJK

Please note this is her at her absolute best. She doesn't look so good at the moment to be honest. No big dents or anything like that, but the silver trim on the bumpers have faded (I had just painted them on the pictures) and a bracket has come loose and needs repair on the rear bumper (not a big job tho)

Also I have switched the alloy wheels back to Wobbly Web, which were original to the car. I might add, they are in VERY good condition (will clean up like new)

Good bits:
6 months TAX
MOT until Oct 2014
Runs smoothly as i have regularly changed the oil. Gearbox is spot on.
Full leather Interior taken from an V6. It is in good condition. I even changed the Carpets, so no Grey/Black mismatch.
Alloy wheels in v good condition.
Cosmetically looks quite good when cleaned up.

Not so good bits:

There is a slow/ intermittent water leak. I wouldn't hesitate in taking it on a long journey, but carry bottles of water in the boot as a precaution. Suspected hose near the water pump. Unconfirmed. It's been like this for sometime.

The car rises as it should. It then takes a drop before rising again and works normally. Martin at Pleides said it was a sticky valve by the regulator. Again……..??? Unconfirmed

Speedo Cable has snapped! I used a Sat Nav to determine the speed i am going. As for the mileage.. the cable snapped at 118,000 and its done 2 MOTs since then . I suspect it's around 180,000 but thats a guess.

The wiper spray switch on the indicator stalk has broken. (I've switched the pipes so you press rear washer and it squirts the front windscreen)
Needs new Tyres- all round. Will need a battery too.

The Bonnet must have had a respray at some point as it looks a slightly different colour. This is only noticeable in certain lights.

Sunroof needs repair.

I just wanted to offer it out on here first. Spares or Project Car.

As I said. It can be driven away. The Tyres will need replacing before regular use tho.

I'd also thought of contacting Mr Wolsey House Motors and seeing whether he'd offer me anything.

Any interest?

This is soo tempting .. but there's two issues I've no money.. and will probably be out of my price range anyway..

The more I think about it, the more I think (sadly) it's worth more to break for spares. Take any necessary bits off and claim back the (now 5 months) tax.

Things i forgot:

The exhaust will also need replacing and the starter motor keeps sticking too. The central locking has also been playing up (passenger door had to be disconnected) and there is no plip.

Would anyone be interested in the full leather Interior?
Wobbly Web Alloy Wheels?
I know someone wanted a single spoke steering wheel.
Anything else for that matter?

It's only worth breaking Iif the body is seriously shot..but even then I'd sort that out..
