I have a 2000 XM V6 with (as of today) a smashed drivers side foglamp/indicator lens. Is the fog lamp glass replaceable or do I need a complete unit ?

Next question - does anyone have one of whatever I need available ?

Hi Russ,

The light assemblies normally come as a complete unit (Glass bonded to the reflector unit), however its possible to bond a donor glass lense to a reflector unit, as I had to do once on my VSX which has both driving lamp/indicator as does the Exclusive models too !

The reason being, at the time I could only get hold of a S/H unit from a SX model which only has the indicator feature and the driving lamp is blanked off however the glass lenses are identical, hence the swap over after I priced a new unit up which IIRC was in the region of £150

Regarding your wanted request, I should have a good S/H unit in my spares stash which I'll check out in the morning for you and then PM you with the details etc.

My NSF foglight has also gone awol. Did Russ take up your offer, and/or do you have another one available?
