Citroen manuals ++++

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Citroen manuals ++++

Post by kenhall » Sun Sep 13, 2009 10:06 am

Hi all,

Anyone fancy knowing a bit more about Citroen models beyond the XM? Here is your chance:

Would be a useful addition for the knowledge base of an all models club such as FCF or CCC, but I bet the sellers of copied manuals might push the price up.

I agree Ken.

What an amazing opportunity to get a large stab of model factory manuals! It makes sense for a forum with a significant multitude of members
owning a wide cross section of models to purchase the set to create a library but it would rely on a few members to devote space for storage
and time to make the relevant librarian references regarding queries from the membership etc; quite a commitment!

I'm surprised by the sheer quantity of volumes for wiring on the Xantiae and there's one box devoted to diagnostics.

Quite a price mind, especially for items fished out of a skip...

I wonder if the seller would part with just the xm manuals? i have been thinking about asking my local dealer if they will be parting with their manuals soon, it wont hurt to express an interest anyway.

Hi All

Been watching this too.
Lot of duplicate stuff for me plus the fact that most of the manual sets seem to be incomplete.
For example the XM full set is 11 folders not the 9 shown.
May make a stupid offer to show interest.

Well, I'd dearly love to have the Xantia manuals.
Would help with a keen offer purchase price to get my hands on these!!
The C5 one's would excite a few folks on the forums too!!

Well, I'd dearly love to have the Xantia manuals.
I was offered a set of Xantia workshop manuals, 10 I think, with extra bulletins etc. If you`re interested I could ask him if he still has them.
I only looked at them as I needed information on an Activa we have a problem with.

Cheers, Andrew

Great Andrew; any news or leads would be appreciated! Whereabouts are these?
What's the story with the Activa then? A car I very much like owning several examples of.

Hi, I`ll try and find out about the manuals in the next week.#

The Activa is a 99 and doesn`t want to lift the front up and the red light stays on, although the rear suspension lifts and the steering pressurises.
I do have an 97 Activa myself but its just being used for parts at he moment, shame really as it looks a tidy example.
Cheers, Andrew

I'd appreciate any news on the Xantia manuals.

I'm surprised you're breaking an Activa; especially one that sounds OK! Do you realise just how rare these
are!? What forced it off the road in the first place to donate spares - it's not another engine donor?

As far as not rising at the front I'd imagine it must be something related to the front height corrector.
Has the metal rod/bracket attaching it to the front normal anti roll bar or even the nylon double cupped
link popped off as the height corrector is stiff.

With the 153 manuals for £500 and this, has the Citroen related world lost grasp of reality on ebay or what!?
