I'm pleased to see the sensible price tag
But rather that power from a V6 .24

I can't say, cause I don't know:) Would love to try out, a real 24 valver but they are rare.
But I do know I wouldn't like this superb automatic ZP 20 gearbox with the brilliantly designed filter inside. Don't even know if v6 24v were made with manual gearboxes.
This company that did the VEMS conversion is highly rated with others and they've done SM's CX's but I never saw an XM up until now.

Couldn't you "make" a TCT with close to this kind of power/torque for less without aftermarket management? I know the Motronic ECU has a 1 bar boost cutoff which everyone cites as a bottleneck but....the MAP sensor is inside the ECU isn't it? Have always wondered why no-one replaces this with a 1.5 or 2 bar sensor and remaps accordingly? Yes, I know about injector flow rate/turbo boost limits but I'm sure a pretty powerful XM could be created this way. Remaps on standard hardware seem to be around 175ish bhp. Add in a larger bore exhaust/downpipe....
It's the Puggerisers who have the best knowledge of getting big power from the TCT from the info I have read.
I don't know if anyone here has done much with a TCT XM in this regard.
