WANTED: Chrome Bumper Trim and Insert Panels

I'm having my '97 V6 Exclusive resprayed next week and vaguely recall seeing the plastic 'chrome' inserts for bumpers and rubbing strips being sold somewhere. Does anyone know if they're still available, and from where? :( Also, I've been looking via scrappers – with no success – for the two plastic panels which cover wiring etc. below the spot/fog lights on the front valence which were 'lost' when the badger did for my radiator. Has anyone got a pair they don't need?
Cheers – Mark W

Ooops... I just did a site search and came across Brian Plimmer as a possible source of stainless steel replacements for the plastic 'chrome' strips, but couldn't find his contact details: can anyone supply them, please? :?:

Cheers – MW

Where are you Mark and are you going to Cosford? If so, I could pick some trims up for you...or Brian Primmer may well be going anyway if he is aware of the event.

That'd be very kind of you, but I fear I may've got your message too late as you're probably on your way. I actually live in Powys, mid-Wales which isn't TOO far from Cosford, but my XM is at the paint-shop now so I couldn't do the honourable thing and turn up in it anyway, so probably won't go. I'll contact Brian P anyway.

Thanks again – Mark

Hi again,

I actually made it to Cosford late on Saturday afternoon, but only a few XMs were remained and Mr Primmer wasn't there. Indeed he doesn't seem to be responding to emails and I wonder if anyone has a phone number for him? My car is at the bodyshop now and I've bitten the (expensive!) bullet and ordered a rear bumper trim from Chevronics, but I now need the side trims rather urgently! Any ideas how to contact him apart from email?

Cheers – Mark

No phone number given in the Citroenian advert.
Ciaran or Robert as CCC XM reps might be able to find out.

I've asked a few people who should know.

I did have Brian's phone number, years ago as I bought some parts from him.
Can I find it now? Of course not! :x
