I know that car and the green 2.1 Estate there as well. They were Chauffeur drive cars so have high miles but are in good condition. I nearly considered buying them, but don't have a need for Series 2 cars.
There is a silver estate in the process of being recommissioned and another with 450k miles, being broken.
The seller, Roger, is a decent chap. Buy with confidence.

I have had a couple of 2.1 estates with nearly 300k on them and they were still going well.

I've been trying to convince myself that I only want it for aesthetic reasons and my cloth is fine

To be honest I wasn't that enthusiastic at all about leather and my cloth versions were fine too. But I have now changed my mind

I personally think leather looks smarter and easier to keep clean, although sticky and hot in the summer and cold like stone in the winter... Small drawbacks! however the cloth seats are far more comfy I have found. Apart from S2 leather seats, which seam very soft indeed.
