S1 V6 sei 1992 - 'The Project' - now sold!
I just wondered if anyone might be interested to collaborate in the acquisition of this car:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251688718967? ... EBIDX%3AIT
Ideally you will have some garage/drive space available, be located in the Midlands/Peterborough area, and initially prepared to invest around £300.
Please PM me for further details.
With regards,
Matthew T.

Re: S1 V6 for sale!
VERY interested, but FAR toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much to do already Mathew, and IF I had the space you could of sent it up here.
IT REALLY does need to be saved before they give up... And Id add an LPG kit to it also to make her more appealing IF she came to selling on!!

Re: S1 V6 for sale!
Many thanks Paul and I quite understand your position!! As you suggest, I think they are quite close to breaking the car, which would be a shame as for me at least it does look potentially like quite an attractive project. A PRV V6 and auto box is a nice combination and being a later S1 it has full 24v spec - apart from the engine of course! Regards, Matthew T.

Those forklift tines look like they've been dangerously close to the under-body of that car. Is this a scrapyard, which would tie in with no V5.

Go for it Matthew! The interior looks mint, could be a great project.

Hi Matthew, steelcityuk wrote:I've read about this car somewhere, a faulty gearbox was mentioned.
As already stated theres already a thread for M592 MVH, you even made several post in it yourself, the following being the last one !

If the gearbox is duff I am not sure the car is worth £595 given the work involved to remove and refit. I paid £200 for my car that seemed enough at the time and nobody else seemed to want it! If you had read my post and clicked onto the link you could have easily deciphered its a 'Typo' (for which I apologise) !
It should have been G592 MVH as the 'Link/info directed you the other thread which has already been started' which was always correct !
The basic message is, why do folk keep starting multiple threads for the same vehicles which are still quite fresh (i.e. still on say page one of the 'Spotted Sales/Wanted section' is beyond me), especially when folk can easy check first (Using the search facility) as 'Will' / 'I' and sometimes other forum members tend to include the reg. number within the posting so as to make the searching for a vehicles past history easy to find for possible future needs to any Forum member (Note, as this section is locked off to Non-forum members) or indeed that theres already a current/recent thread thats still fairly live as is the case with this XM !

So I now hope that's cleared up for you Paul, perhaps I'll make a remark in the future when you slip up with a typo or spelling mistake (after using the "
