Manual 2.1 TD Wanted

Hi, I recently bought a 1993 VSX which has re-kindled my love of XMs (had two previously, including a 1991 2.1 SED which was a faithful companion for many years). I like the VSX, but would love to get a Mk1 or Mk1.5 again. Ideally in a dark colour (pref black or gunmetal). Not much to ask I know, but at least I'm in the right place to ask!

I have a graphite grey 2.1 sd manual i can be persuaded to part with..
there's a massive blog on the car on this forum .. its a 1992 K reg .. Sd so all electric but no problematic abs on it..
needs two jobs before going.. hole in sill before an mot and ideally fuel pump removing and the heater plug attacking with a socket.. someone has crossed it and it won't come out with a scanner
car starts but a bit smoky till that cylinder has warmed..
Bosch pump too...

I've driven this car (as have a few other members I believe) when we were at the XM 25th Birthday gathering at RAF Cosford. It's a lovely car to drive, feels nice and tight with no knocks bangs or wandering in the steering

Hi, thanks for the replies! Will have a poke around on the Forum and see if I can track down any pics. My old car was an SED which was black leather - presume the SD is cloth? Graphite grey is a good colour if it's the one I am visualising. Great that you seem to be local to me (I'm in Liverpool). Cheers, David

I can upgrade the trim to leather and fit a FULL leather interior too for £100 quid!!

am getting into dangerous "how much are you looking for territory"...
...and I assume you're not interested in a part ex/swap on a 1998 2.1 VSX with leather trim!
