Breaking : 1993 2.1 SED Auto
Following on from the "minus a few cogs" thread......
Will be looking to break my 1993 2.1 SED auto, over the coming months.
From memory; aside from the transmission, roof-top aerial, and tail-gate inner plastics; all parts are available - some quite recent.
The transmission IS available; but will need repair (only has 1st and top). Cost of repair probably out-weighs its value
Please email any parts requests to : jceastham at gmail dot com_bine-harvester
Thanks in advance
Justin

I'm not sure if they are the same but I'm looking for a glove compartment latch and strut
Also the plastic inside door lock button
If you have any or all of these I would be interested
Regards john

You can get the struts regassed or refilled with oil. Eddienuff has done it and cost £20. If you find his blog on members cars it should be there.

Re: Breaking : 1993 2.1 SED Auto
Exhaust is being less than co-operative
. Two nuts secure the front section to the manifold/turbo, and while the n/s nut came off without any difficulty; the o/s nut is spinning the bolt :

Is there a way to prevent the bolt from turning, without having to remove engine-bay gubbins ?
Push comes to shove; I'll either cut a section out of the shell, or just drop the engine/tranny/suspension/sub-frame as one.
N/s nut came off, no bother :
