Cat needed rather quickly for 2.0i, maybe lambda too...

So I've taken the back box off the XM today to do a couple of welded repairs to get it through the MoT, unfortunately as I removed it a few chunks of catalyst dropped out, it appears the element has shattered through water cooling or impact rather than melted  anyway the upshot of this is we now likely need a cat to get through the next MoT, unless '94 XM's are one of the cars that can pass emissions without one. Damn thing was only replaced 5 years ago along with the head work!

Not sure if the 2.0i is the same as turbo or any others, but even just a cat with about 6" of pipe either end would suffice for now as long as it's got a lambda bung & I'll weld our downpipe and outlet onto that. Assume the turbo downpipe will be different at least. I'll post a pic of what it's like anyway shortly.

Whatever you've got let us know please, might even be after 2 cats if the price is keen, one for getting on the road now and a spare in case it IS overfuelling and kills another before I can fix the cause. could use the lambda sensor too as that may be a cause,

oh and unless I find the right items on ebay we also need the downpipe mounting bolts/springs/collars plus the clamps for the cat to centre section and centre section to transverse box, as these were all corroded beyond usefulness despite the nuts loosening OK...

EBay's sorted us for now, looks like the pattern ones last about 5 years for a 50 quid job going on what the current one managed so can't really complain at that.
